Returns & Exchanges Policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return or exchange.


Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn or unused, with all original tags attached, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


How to Start a Return or Exchange
To initiate a return, please do not send an email. All return and exchange requests must be managed through your customer account on our website:
1. Log in to your account at thecoatmakerco.com.
2. Navigate to the "Returns & Exchanges" tab in your dashboard.
3. Select the order and the item(s) you wish to return or exchange.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to submit your request.


The Process & Shipping Labels
Once your return request is approved, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label. Please note the following conditions regarding the shipping process:
* Label Responsibility: We provide one prepaid label per return request. It is the customer's responsibility to use the label within the carrier's validity period. If a label expires or is cancelled due to inactivity, the customer will be responsible for the cost of generating any subsequent labels.
* Carrier Logistics: Whether the return requires a home collection or a drop-off at a designated service point depends on the carrier’s local policies in your specific country or region.
* Coordination with Carriers: Once the label is generated, any specific changes—such as pickup address adjustments, preferred time slots, or rescheduling—must be coordinated by the customer directly with the carrier. THECOATMAKER is not responsible for missed pickups or local logistical arrangements.
* Unauthorised Returns: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return through our website portal will not be accepted.


Worldwide Returns & Refunds
We are pleased to offer Free Returns Worldwide.
* Return Inspection: Returned items will be inspected within 2 business days of receipt at our facility.
* Approval: We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.
* Bank Processing: Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
* Follow-up: If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return and you haven't received your refund, please contact us at customerservice@thecoatmakerco.com.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
* Worn, washed, or damaged items.
* Underwear and swimwear (for hygiene reasons).
* Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable”.
* Made-to-measure items are strictly non-returnable and non-exchangeable.
